Scott and I took Alex to the Carriage Town Horse Show in Amesbury to enter in the mini classes. The weather was just perfect! Alex looked beautiful all cleaned up. We took him to the show early so we could walk him all over the show grounds and get him acclimated. He was not nervous at all. He looked at everything and took it all in stride. We entered him in the in hand mini gelding class. He stood like a statue and trotted off nicely and did everything as if he had done it his whole life. He won the class. Then we entered him in the mini championship class with mares. Again he did everything right and won the championship. We entered him in the mini driving class and he was very good for his first time. Nothing bothered him in the driving class but he did not want to back up so he dropped to third place. Scott and I were thrilled with Alex's behavior and all he learned at the show. He is young yet so this was a very easy venue for him to make his first debut. He will be driven very lightly for the rest of the season until next year. He is for sale and would make a fabulous driving mini for anyone. He is very easy to drive, has an excellent attitude, loves children and is extremely quiet. He is absolutely adorable! He is double registered.
